  1. Those are beautiful markers. I really enjoy your blog. My son is getting ready to go to college and his interest are international studies, history and French. I noticed that you have degrees in history and French. Any suggestions for him?

    1. Thank you so much, Betty. I appreciate the kind words. I need to write more, but am not able to do as much as I want to right now.

Georgetown University is by far the BEST place to earn an International Studies degree. A number of my former students went there and now work in the State Department and in other internationally-related occumpations. I'm very proud of them!

Many colleges and universities also have good ones - you just have to 'do your homework' if you're interested in someplace near where you live. We have an excellent program here in Memphis at Rhodes College.

Good luck - and keep me posted! :)
